Sweeny Community Hospital is a critical access hospital that is able to provide 11 acute inpatient beds for the community, as well as swing bed services. Through collaboration with other departments our inpatient unit provides care and treatment to a variety medical issues. While admitted on the inpatient unit patients have 24 hour care provided by our skilled physicians and nurses. We also provide social services, physical therapy, diabetes management, wound care, IV therapy, and much more. We know that hospitals can be a frightening place, so use a patient centered model that allows the patient to have the utmost voice in their care while working with the SCH team to create a positive outcome.
