Thanks for taking the time to view our Web site and learn about Sweeny Community Hospital.

Situated at the western edge of Brazoria County, Sweeny is in a rural setting with all the positive features you would expect — friendliness, a family orientation, security, low crime rate, etc. With a history of more than 40 years, the hospital is up-to-date but not too big, and we are close to home.

Several new facilities and features have been added to address community needs. These include The Fountains Assisted-Living Community, the SCH Emergency Department, and the SCH Professional Office Building. These facilities complement the hospital to make an impressive medical campus.

One way we hope you see we are different from larger, metropolitan, facilities is in the caring attitude we project. For the most part, we are local people sensitive to the needs and desires of our neighbors, friends and family. We want them all to experience this difference when they deal with us in any of our departments.
